"As a general rule of thumb, what is popular in print tends to be popular in digital, and vice versa ... But we’ve not yet found a situation where a character is a monster hit in the digital realm and a flop in print." If this is true, why is Captain Marvel getting relaunched with the same writer? I assumed that it was because it was a hit digitally, but if that's not the case what is?

Well, first off, I don’t know that we owe you any sort of explanation, especially since you seem to have some axe to grind with Kelly Sue and you’re not putting some sort of name on your question. But just to take care of this once and for all:
We’re doing this for the same reason that we relanched SHE-HULK years ago with Dan Slott and Juan Bobilo again. CAPTAIN MARVEL is a character and a series that has resonated strongly with a segment of the audience. But it was a little bit lost in the shuffle when it debuted, especially given that the MARVEL NOW books rolled out soon after it. So we’re regrouping and taking another shot at it, because it’s a character and a creative team and an approach that we have faith in. And it’s not just the same book, as you’ll see shortly, something new has been added that will take it in quite a different direction.
But long story short: we choose to do this because we choose to do this. You can buy it or not buy it at your discretion.
