Was there a special reason to make Bendis the head writer of the Guardians of The Galaxy and not other writer with more involvement and better knowledge of the Marvel Cosmic Universe?

Brian’s our biggest writer, GUARDIANS is our biggest upcoming property, one that Brian was involved tangentially into turning into a film as part of Marvel’s creative committee, it’s not really rocket science from that point on.
