  • Tom, when you guys mess with your timeline and truncate it (or at least acknowledge truncating it) do you ever feel like you're just creating more problems for yourself? Like wouldn't it be easier to just ignore the passage of real time, and just pretend Marvel exists unto itself? It seems like every time you push stuff forward, it just riles people up and makes more headaches.

    The way we do it has been working just fine for us for decades, so I think we’ll stick with it. Not addressing it would make just as many people confused and upset–especially since we’re going to continue to reference current events and the world around us in our stories.
