Hey Tom, would Marvel ever make an appearance at Akron Comic-Con? Even if it was just a few creators? Akron Comic-Con has been going on for a bit in Akron Ohio. So I wondered if we will ever see a Marvel presence when the con could accommodate one?
As an organization, Marvel does very few conventions at this point. it’s just so expensive and time-consuming to get our crew out to every show that’s put on–we’re really limited to just the largest ones in order to make the trip and the expense worthwhile. But that said, our creators do a lot more shows on their own, if they’re invited and are interested in traveling to where the show is set up. So I’d suggest reaching out to some specific people you’d like to have as guests, and seeing if they’d be interested in coming out for it.
