Dan Didio said that most of DCs readers are 45 years old. I imagine you won't divulge any actual numbers, or even agree, in Marvel's case but would you say that the older demographic are the ones buying the books in more significant numbers and if so, are most of those readers long standing readers and not new to comics?

Assuming that the statement you just quoted is accurate, that describes everything that is wrong with DC’s thinking and the way they’ve been managing that company for the last couple of years.

You don’t need to go far to find the stories of readers who were turned onto what we do (or who came back to it after a time away from it) by the films and television and animation and so forth. To say nothing of the new generation of young people who are growing up with a love of these characters from all of these avenues.
