After Marvel gave up the RE Howard rights, does any of that old continuity still have a place in modern marvel? A good example is Red Sonja being one of Mary Janes ancestors.

We can’t really reference stuff that we don’t have the rights to, so while it’s all presumably still there, it’s never going to come up–so it’s as good as gone. (By that same token, how often did it come up when we still did have the rights?)
