If the Ant Man movie features Hank Pym, do you think Marvel will eventually have to retcon his past? I don't see how his abusive relationship with Jan could stand up to any protest that might flare up. Keep in mind a minor maelstrom erupted over casting a black Heimdall, so people do latch onto stuff that you might not think they would.

I don’t see how there’s any way you could fix any such protest with a retcon. So I expect it’s irrelevant.
