Do you think that the fact that Marvel has so many mutually contradictory alternate futures kind of makes any story about characters from the future kind of lose weight since you know that even though they claim their future is inevitable/bad that its not gonna happen and next week they'll ignore and deal with a different future? I didn't care about Battle of the Atom or FF's current story for this reason
for some readers maybe. But those sorts of stories continue to remain popular, so there’s somebody out there that likes them–perhaps fans who haven’t read as many of them yet as you or I.
