Re: "plotline of one book." Is Uncanny Avengers considered the flagship book on some level? The scope of the story is to the level where I could see it disrupting the whole line certainly, but in this case I'm glad that you're, for the most part, letting the creators create in their own books, and (I imagine) tying in the things that make the most sense. You guys are generally very, very good about allowing writers to buy into events instead of forcing it upon them and it is appreciated.
if we get tot he point where the storyline is concluded and there’s a status quo change, then you’ll start to see that reflected in other titles moving forwards. UNCANNY AVENGERS is a flagship book, but we look at every title as being an Event in its own right. So once something changes–Doc Ock takes over Spidey’s body, say–that begins to get reflected in the other titles in which Spidey shows up. But not until that storyline is concluded and that result is achieved.
