  • I know it's inevitable because of the internet but do you think it's good/bad/neutral that readers can see the solicits so freely now? I mean, I know the really determined reader could have asked his shop owner or read a trade pub back in the day, but it seems like you need to be extra coy to avoid spoilers now - and no creator likes when their book gets spoiled. Then again, it might help boost excitement in a book if we know something epic is coming. Thoughts?

    In my perfect world, we wouldn’t release solicits to the readership. but that ship has sailed twenty years ago at this point, so it is what it is, and we just deal with it.
