I enjoyed "Fear Itself." It was a little like an Oprah giveaway ("YOU get a hammer! YOU get a hammer!") but it worked for me. Putting familiar characters in unfamiliar situations is how you keep things fresh in a giant story universe. If you want the same thing you've had before, just reread your back issues, right? :)

This is only one of several responses, both as individual questions to me and in the comments to the original question. So i think we can put this issue to bed–there are clearly people who liked FEAR ITSELF, as well as people who didn’t.
