  • Let's say a writer pitches you a great idea for a new ongoing, but for what reason they can't write it. Do you take that pitch and book to a new writer? How often does this happen?

    It happens on occasion–Brian Bendis just yesterday pointed to SECRET WARRIORS and OMEGA FLIGHT, both of which were ideas that came out of stories he was working on that he was too busy to do. But it’s relatively rare. And especially if it’s a new idea, you’d really want the person who came up with the idea to execute the series.
