No, there’s no such rule, but I think that in general the audience seems to be more open to such experimentation on titles that are a little bit further from the center, so the stuff that attracts a devoted and specialized audience such as HAWKEYE or YOUNG AVENGERS might be off-putting to the audience on SPIDER-MAN or X-MEN, at least to a degree. Which kind of makes sense, in that the books with the largest audience tend to skew the most to the center of the road in terms of overall taste, hence their wide appeal. In terms of ALL-NEW NOW, offhand I would say that GHOST RIDER will probably do some of that, and there’s at least one mind-bending issue of SILVER SURFER planed for the future as well that would fit the bill.
