Have you ever thought about doing a 40 page comic 6 times a year instead of a 20 page comic 12 times a year or something to that affect. Personally, I'd rather pay more money for more pages less times a year but everything seems to be going the other direction

The problem with this, as we’ve proven time and time again, is that today’s readers don’t want to wait two months for the next chapter of a story they’re reading. These days, they don’t always want to wait one month, which is why series double-shipping has been so successful. It’s the binge-entertainment philosophy that’s caught on with this generation of consumers. So yes, we’ve thought about things along the lines of what you’re talking about, but every time we try something like that, it doesn’t work out as well as if we’d found a way to release the material more rapidly.
