The Speedball who showed up in the new NoVA seems a lot younger than the Robbie Baldwin we've seen for the last ten or so years, who seems to have been stabilized somewhere around the early 20s - 20-23, somewhere thereabouts when he was operating as Penance and then as a teacher at the Avengers Academy. Now he's being drawn like he's sixteen again.
Different artists have different interpretations. On top of which, don’t think Speedball is a character that you want to let grow too old, or his antics and outlook just won’t work.
