  • I think the lack of a major death in Infinity was a really solid choice. If every event has one as a rule to (often artificially) raise the stakes, it eventually becomes desensitizing. In Infinity there were a number of huge character driven consequences and to me they're a lot more interesting than just taking a character off the board.

    Well, not every story or every Event is the same, and therefore they don’t require the same things. I’m trying to think, was there a death in AGE OF ULTRON (apart from the temporary and undone death of Hank)? I don’t think so–so that’s two in a row! Did anybody die in BATTLE OF THE ATOM? If not, there seems to be a pattern.
