I know you've been defending the relaunches but what's the defense for Daredevil? I think the relaunches are tiring especially when it's just new story arcs/directions (although I don't like them for new creative teams either) but I get why it's done: #1s sell more and Marvel seems to believe comics should have TV-esque "seasons" (another thing I personally disagree with). But from the outside looking in Daredevil, with the price increase, just looks like a cynical cash grab to me.
I think that if you’re one of the many who really like Waid and Samnee’s Daredevil–one of the folks who was outraged that it seemed like it was ending a week ago–then you understand exactly why we’re doing this. Because of when it launched, Daredevil got none of the benefits of the attention and promotion of Marvel Now–so now that Mark and Chris have a significant change to the status quo happening, why shouldn’t we take action to give this series the benefits of that attention and promotion?
