"In most cases, print is greater—but that gap is steadily closing." If/when that gap closes or digital exceeds print sales, do you Marvel will take re-evaluate the risk associated with more niche IPs for digital only titles? Would removing the printing costs affect production costs that much?

I think you’re misinterpreting what I said a little bit. Yes, in certain cases the gap is closing between print sales and digital sales, and eventually in some instance it’s inevitable that digital will exceed print–but all of it contributes to the bottom line and the health of the series. The question of a digital edition being able to underwrite its own costs and generate a profit commensurate to what it would take in as a print and digital book is an entirely different question, and we’re further away from that (outside of initiatives such as our Infinite Comics.) Our approach to all of this is pretty simple, we’ll do whatever material we can find an audience for–but we want the largest audience that we can get, so why would I limit myself from releasing in print as well if it seemed like the material could support itself, you know?
