  • I really miss the 100 page monster books program that you spear-headed years ago and would love to see more. Was the reason this petered out due to the costs associated (printing, paper and restoration) or because it just wasn't popular enough? Any chance we could see some kind of new program like this? Maybe expanding the page counts of the Annuals and filling the back with reprints? Such a great value for our dollars...

    Glad you enjoyed them! The thing that made the Monster books profitable at the time was being able to reprint those stories from existing film, without needing to restore, re-color or re-separate them. But at this point, fifteen years on, the entirety of printing technology has changed, everything is digital-based now, and so that situation no longer exists in the same manner. On the other hand, we now have a vast and extensive collected editions program, so most of the stuff that you’d want to reprint has likely already been reprinted recently anyhow.
