  • I'm torn. On one hand, I want the non-Marvel Studios films to do well because, well, all of geekdom benefits. On the other hand, if they do poorly, wouldn't that encourage studios to let the license lapse (a la Daredevil) so that Marvel can regain the film rights and make BETTER movies? WHAT'S A NERD TO DO, TOM?!

    Good and successful movies based on comics are always preferable to bad movies based on comics. Always, in every situation. Never root for something to stink.
