  • well you're oversimplifying the point when it comes to shared universes and a character you don't like. for example if I don't like spidey/ock, it's hard to avoid him in Avengers titles. or if I think Winter Soldier is a bad idea, he also will appear in several titles and a key player in many events. I always found the Sentry to be ridiculous with his off the charts power level that made him more than a match for any threat, and he was ubiquitous in marvel books for several years.

    I think it’s a very simple point when you come right down to it: either you’re interested in the books and stories and want to read them, or you’re not and you’re not. Sure, that encompasses a ton of smaller aspects that need to be weighed, but there’s only so much I can do for you on that account–there are 400,000 or 500,000 other people who have the same considerations but different tastes, and you cannot make every person happy.
