Tom you have been doing a good job of releasing books in continuity lines , latest example is Infinity , one book after the other in nice proper order so my question today is Why did Marvel hit the floor running with Cataclysm and the USM this week was "previously"? Who make's these decisions? Most of the folks in the store on Wednesday were telling me not to even bother with it but my love for Miles I bought it dishing out my cash and then ending the book I felt like BMB himself spat on my face

I think that there are a million different ways to tell a story, and that Brian always tries to select the methodology that best allows him to accomplish what he’s trying to accomplish. I think his track record certainly proves that to be the case. So it’s a little bit disheartening to hear you say that you feel like he spit in your face–that’s a pretty extreme reaction to not liking when a particular issue of a comic is set.

At the end of the day, if the story is not for you, then it’s not for you. And of course we want you to feel invested in what we’re doing. But that investment shouldn’t cross the line where you feel like creators are deliberately doing stories to make you unhappy–because nothing could be further from the truth.
