Obviously this Ms Marvel thing is a big deal to some people for some reason. When the idea was being thrown around and finally approved and released, was there a general idea of the negative backlash expected or was everyone focused solely on the positivity of releasing such positive news? Has the negativity been more or less than expected? So far, anyway..
The negativity has been far less than expected, actually, and well outweighed by the positive. And of course we knew there’d be outcry–every time we do anything, there’s outcry, but especially something like this. Doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t do it, though, if we’ve got a story to tell.
