When you were getting shit for a lack of diversity about a month ago, I just imagine you looking at She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel & Black Widow etc all in the pipeline and laughing maniacally to yourself, then logging on to Tumblr and typing 'Wait & See'! Well done, these books seem genuinely exciting - not in a token way. Great to see Marvel is willing to continually try new things & test the waters (just pls stop slapping the word 'Avengers' on anything & everything).
Well, sure. But to quiet people on my Tumblr isn’t a good enough reason to announce any of that upcoming stuff ahead of our plans to roll them out, of course. And obviously different people will have different opinions, but I don’t feel like we do slap the word Avengers on anything and everything. There’s more Avengers stuff now than there was in the past, but that’s kind of natural given the increased popularity of the brand over the last decade, and the huge film they had not long ago. There are still more X-books than Avengers titles.
