From what I've read, Marvel/DC Universe movies haven't boosted comic sales as much as movies based on stand-alone comics like Watchmen have, presumably because there isn't one specific book tied to the movie. Do you think a simple, effective way around this would be to tie movies more to specific story arcs, and to give them the same name?

It’s not really as simple as that. Movies have boosted the sales of individual collections–that’s where you tend to see the boost. INFINITY GAUNTLET is a good example, we went through a ton of those when AVENGERS opened. Same thing with the hardcover of the first Fraction/Larroca year on IRON MAN. As for your supposition, I suppose we’ll see what happens with the WINTER SOLDIER and AGE OF ULTRON books in the next few months–my bet is that we will see a noticeable uptick in sales.
