Approximately how long does it take the colorist to complete an issue in the production process? Has computer coloring really increased the speed of colorist dramatically, or have the many variations, gradations, and effects available for use made the process about as long as it was years ago?
It varies from colorist to colorist, as you’d expect, and the amount of time it takes really hasn’t changed much with the change of tools. I would guesstimate the amount of time for an average book would be around a week.
