one more thing ont he whole numbering debate, ive very slowly come around to your philosphy about new #1's and as a business model it makes more sense, but still i think there should be a few books that keep that the old numbering espically both amazing spidey if it ever comes back and even more importantly Fantastic 4 , i personally think all the new number #1 and starts and restarts of that book hurt both the legacy and the sales of that book,
I hear what you’re saying. But it’s pretty clear from the previous times we’ve renumbered FANTASTIC FOUR that what you’re saying simply isn’t so. Every new launch gave that book a big burst of sales (and even more when it was replaced by FF.) So what you and others like you–and myself if I’m being honest–like is the tradition. But the tradition doesn’t pay the bills.
