Time to chime in on the number thing since its a "thing" now on here. I have been collecting Marvel going on 20+ years, A number 1 is what got me into comics and then I would look up other stories when you still had editors telling you what book was referenced. BUT recently only Wacker does that to my knowledge and sometimes your #1's are redundant. Example. Captain Marvel. Relauncing once again with the SAME writer. I would get It If It was a new writer but the same writer seems very pointless.
Wait until the book comes out, and then tell me that it’s pointless. Again, you’re reaching this conclusion based on very little. It’s possible that you’ll still feel this way even once you have all the facts about what we’re doing, but at least then it will be an informed opinion. But what it really sounds like is that you’d make different choices than we have–which is fine, but you can understand that we make what we think are the best choices at every turn.
