New Brevoort Formspring

I just want to thank you for today’s Uncanny Avengers, which may be my all-time favorite comic ever. Sure, I know Wolverine is obviously coming back (and will probably continue to pollute this title), but having him left for dead – after being told that being a psychopathic murderer was the cause of all the mutants’ problems – was just wonderful. After having to suffer through him in title after title despite my best efforts to avoid him (he has a horrible tendency to show up in titles even when he’s not a member of the book’s cast), this was a wonderful moment of catharsis. If he can stay out of this book for a long while, this is one reader at least who will be very happy.

(FWIW, deaf Cap was a lot of fun with Havok, Wanda being romantic and *heroic* instead of Bendis’ Warped Prism idiocy, and Jan being competent were also much appreciated.)
