Tom, I just want to say that your collections department must hate completeists. Like I'm going to go crazy not having Avengers vols 3&4 and New Avengers vol 2 on my shelf, just because you guys have to go and collect them both with Infinity and separately. Why do you hate me?

We don’t hate you, we just love the readership as a whole more. Doing collections of just INFINITY and those volumes of AVENGERS and NEW AVENGERS would amount to producing three books that couldn’t really be read and understood by themselves. That’s never our goal. So since those issues are so integrally intertwined in INFINITY, it only makes sense to release the whole thing as one big package. A good reading experience is more important than a neat shelf.
