Hi Tom! About the renumbered series, is it possible to get back the double numbering that you use a few years? That was a great Idea. For example, Fantastic Four vol 3 #64 was #493 too. In that way, everybody wins: old fans, because we have a reminder about the long history of a series, and new fans too. After 30 years reading Fantastic Four, is a bit sad to have ANOTHER #1 in a few months, but not #650 or #700 in the future.
I’m afraid it’s not likely. We couldn’t keep that double-numbering straight the first time we tried it–there are all sorts of issues with repeated numbers or the same numbers. It was a huge headache that was only of benefit to a small percentage of the readership–so it wound up being more trouble than it was worth, sorry.
