Tom, are other writers forbidden from using the X-kids because Aaron is writing the "school" book? Because they (and the editors) always point to Wolverine&the X-men for the New X-men and other young mutants even though Aaron has been open about his disinterest about using those characters.

No, nobody is forbidden from using the X-kids. You’d just need a relevant place to use them, and a storyline that passed muster with the X-editors.
