It’s a bit more complicated than that, especially when you get into Shang Chi, which lifted whole swaths of supporting characters from the Fu Manchu books. You’d wind up doing so much work that it’s really not worth it–and the people who want that material would likely be upset that you had to change it that much. Lose-Lose.
