Seems like one big casualty of not doing a lot of limited series is the ability to give a test run to a character who may or may not warrant an ongoing. Have you guys talked about any alternatives to this?

I don’t think that’s true, not in the way you mean. Think back, who was the last character you can remember who was given a test run in a limited series and then graduated to an ongoing title? Deadpool maybe? And that was twenty years ago. These days, if we’ve got a strong feeling for a character, and have a creator who has a strong take on that character, we just do a book.
