Here is just an example. The Lights were created only about 1-2 years ago and now we only see Idie who is Jason's pet. Why creates new characters to not use them ? Rockslide , Anole , Surge , Dust etc are all great characters who even where a team and now they'rwallpaper. Just answer me this If you may. Why put someone in a book If your not going to Utilize them? And instead of them going to Cyke's school Bendis gets green lighted to make new mutants so these characters continue to be wallpape

See, here’s the thing. Instead of celebrating the fact that Idie is still in play, you’re bummed about the other Lights. But if one of the other Lights was the one getting used, there’d be other folks bummed about Idie. We create new characters because people have ideas and you never know what’s going to work. But if characters were in a series and that series went away, that’s a good indication that, at least at that moment, not enough people were interested in reading about them to keep a series afloat. But it’s the Marvel Universe, characters can come back to the fore all the time. But you can’t have absolutely every character in play all at once–that’s madness, and would result in a lot of crummy stories. I want Brian creating new mutants–one of those characters could be the next Idie, or the next Pixie, or the next whomever. Especially if that’s what he wants to do, why would I force him to use a bunch of characters that he has no interest in instead?
