  • Regarding my previous question - so in other words my own wallet may not be important enough to change anything, but if I would convince other people to follow my wallet with theirs, it could have an impact? For example, if I want more books like Young Avengers and less like Avengers Arena (lets put my personal feelings about those books aside for the sake of argument) I shouldn’t just buy former and not buy latter, but also try to convince  as many people as I can people to do the same?

That would help, sure. But realistically–and this is a terrible reality to put in front of somebody–it’s not likely that the opinion of a single reader all by itself is going to have that great an impact on what we publish. The audience as a whole does, so if hundreds and thousands of fellow readers agreed with you and followed your lead, then you might be able to make an impact (like the SPIDER-GIRL readers for so long.) But it’s a rare, rare thing.
