Hey Tom; After reading the CBR interview with Jason Aaron and the comments that followed. I was thinking and wondering why Marvel doesn't do more limited series. Like Icon or Image. Why not have 6 issue mini's to test the waters with characters , writers , artist and concepts. I know a Pixie book might be good especially since BMB says he gets many fan request for her. Or a Young X-men book and having them stop being Wall paper in all Xtitles like 90% of the questions that were asked to Jason.
We stopped doing limited series for the most part because limited series stopped performing well in the marketplace. Readers as a whole just weren’t interested in them. If that situation changes in the future, we’ll no doubt do more of them. But we were given a very clear signal by the audience these last few years: we don’t want limited series,and we won’t buy them if you make them.
