"Sounds like you’ve got somebody in particular you’d like to see in a series." Not that guy, but: When does Wasp get a shot at a series? She's one of the original Marvel Age heroines, was the first to act solo, and got a lot of new fans from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes TV series even while she wasn't in the comics. Yet she's never been allowed to headline more than a shared one-shot. Meanwhile it seems like Carol Danvers will get yet another chance after essentially being canceled three times.
“Never been allowed” makes it sound like writers have been clamoring to do a Wasp book but Marvel wouldn’t let them. And that isn’t really the case. I’m not saying that nobody’s ever expressed any interest, but at the very least nobody’s ever shown up with a pitch that seemed like it stood a good chance of success.
