While I found AvX to be a mixed bag, I just wanted to ask about one item in particular. Wasn't Hope Summers' wrist-mounted tie-in generator a bit transparent? I mean, the gadget came out of nowhere and made it appear that she was in five places at once and then the tie-ins had the A's and X's checking out those places. I understand the economic advisability of producing tie-ins, but isn't stuff like that a bit too on-the-nose or facile?
I don’t know, I suppose it depends on the reader. it makes all the sense in the world to me that Hope would do something to baffle pursuit, especially when she knew that those who were after her possessed that particular kind of mutant-tracking technology.
