I understand that in your opinion, and in Marvel, Thor and the Hulk are peers, and only context makes one out to be the winner; but would you say the actual mainstream context is favourable to the Hulk? all the Cartoons seem to disagree with their being peers, since Hulk is always overshadowing everyone else, Thor included, and often litteraly stepping on him. What happened to show, don't tell? has Thor sales been going so bad, that it was decided to ignore his potential and push Hulk more?
