New Brevoort Formspring

I've only been reading comics for about 18 months but wanted to chime in re: the renumbering comment earlier. To me now, knowing about story arcs and legacy numbering it seems stupid, but when I picked up my first issues I didn't even bother with stuff like Spider-Man because I thought "#670!? I'll be totally lost" and grabbed some Ultimate titles because I figured I wouldn't be lost at #07. I get why people complain but it can be pretty intimidating. I think hard-core fans can forget that.
