Any chance of the flagship Avengers book being drawn by someone like George Perez or Kevin Maguire? I've been loving Jonathan Hickman's run, but I've also been going back and reading a lot of Giffen/DeMatteis's "bwahaha"-era Justice League International, and I've fallen in love with that style of down-to-earth situational comedy superhero team book. It'd be great to see the main Avengers book bring that back to the forefront of the cape comic industry and spread some optimism around.
I feel like you’re asking for a couple different things here, so I’m going to try to answer what I think you’re asking about. I don’t think there’s much chance that we’ll turn AVENGERS into a JLI-style comedy series, no, though there may be issues that are lighter and funnier than other issues.
