In light of recent weirdness and disruptions, would you say Marvel's rules of time travel a) vary based on the demands of a story just like with character ages and the passing of time, or b) follow rules that will become clear as we watch stories unfold?

I think that there are a number of different methods for traveling across distance, and a number of different methods for traveling across outer space. So why should time travel be any different?
