Tom, I think she is referring Origins issue that carefully skated over the Azazel/Mystique affair, something Chuck Austen actually retconned a few years before that in his Uncanny run, and the relationship with Amanda Sefton. Also the Stefan storyline was squished out. I think Asmus was looking to sweep away the possible devilish origins, was this the case? I have been curious about this as well.
I think there’s a difference between not showing everything and squishing things out. After all, there are only so many pages to work with on a book like that, and especially the X-characters have histories that became really crazy and convoluted over time.
