With all those top-selling titles like Avengers and Superior Spider-Man, can't Marvel have the liberties to keep up a medium-to-not-so-low-selling title that still has a pretty strong fanbase? Like Alpha Flight or other characters whose fans beg for them to have a regular series.

If the title had a pretty strong fanbase, then it wouldn’t need keeping up–it would be self-sufficient, as all Marvel titles need to be. Most Marvel books garner a devoted core audience, but that core audience isn’t always enough to keep them around. It’s Darwinism at work, though–you guys, the audience, ultimately decide what we publish and what we do not.
