Wait, Rich Johnston invented journalism? And journalists are like car thieves from your perspective? Interesting!
Rich will be the first person to tell you that what he does isn’t journalism. He’s got a standard disclaimer that indicates that what he’s writing about is rumor. So it’s all tabloid stuff, not consistently following what we’d consider a journalistic standard. Although, these days, many actual bastions of journalism do the same–the state of journalism as a whole is pretty crummy right now.
