A lot of fans think iceman is gay or “in the closest” so to speak but in the comics the character has always been a straight man and i’d think it would be a disservice to the character if he did ever become gay because a lot of fans jokingly use how he was intrepid in Spider-man and his amazing friends to make fun of him and i see it all the time on various forums and blogs etc and how  family guy also jokingly played up the fact that iceman was gay for laughs. I could understand if iceman being “in the closet”  or being out as a gay man was always part of his character i’d be totally cool with that and support it 100% but it’s just not part of the source material and to make him gay because a show like family guy etc.. would be wrong and insensitive 

Forgive me, but I’m not going to let the fact that Family Guy will sometimes trade in humor bordering on if not outright homophobic impact on where the stories might take some of our characters. There are no plans to reveal that Iceman is gay at the moment–but if that changed tomorrow, I wouldn’t concern myself about it at all.
