Hello Tom! With the past Avengers Assemble being very Jessica Drew focused, am I reading too much into it if I think that maybe this was a test issue or precursor for a possible Spider-Woman series?
I think you’re reading into it, certainly. Spider-Woman is a present active Avenger of some standing, so it’s not really remarkable that she might take center stage in an issue of ASSEMBLE. Doesn’t mean that we might not at some point do another SPIDER-WOMAN series, but you’re connecting dots that aren’t specifically connected in this instance.
