New Brevoort Formspring

I read mainly in trade and I’m a sucker for the oversize hardcovers you guys put out so I’m happy to see that titles like Hawkeye, Superior Spider-man and Deadpool are all getting this treatment so soon. Reading this way I’m nearly always about a year or two behind as I can’t really afford to buy each title I’m interested in twice and I’m just wondering if this is the start of a new trend with Marvel Now.

It would be nice to be only be a couple of moths behind the most recent trade rather than a few years.

It’s all case-by-case, I’m afraid, based on what the marketplace indicates that it wants and what we think will perform best. The timing on collections like these is always tricky, because you don’t want to cannibalize sales from other editions of the same material.
