By the way, speaking as a fellow fat person (I'm currently approaching Violet Beauregard level, myself), you and I can lose weight, but the people acting like jerks will still be jerks. Non illegitimis carborundum!!
I find that the folks who keep talking about my weight are likely to weigh as much or more themselves–nothing is as slimming as the anonymity of the internet.
